After a wonderful time playing at Artomatic, DJ Grun happily announces that he will be returning to play the main stage on Saturday, May 31st at Midnight until 1:30am. This performance will be a DJ set of Doomcore, playing timeless records from the early 90’s up through present day.

On May 16th, Catch Grun playing a very special extended DJ set at Artomatic arts festival in Washington, DC.
July 2nd features DJ Grun playing all sorts of eclectic music, including several Axios Records original and unpublished works, at Beyond in Dupont Circle, DC. Joining him will be Black Saturn on the Microphone, who is also contributing several original tracks.
Axios will be performing some fresh new music on July 27th at The Red and The Black in Washington, DC. Look forward to an energetic and interesting show with a lot of the Axios signature sound along with some surprises.

It is with great regret that we must begin the new year by announcing the loss of the only independent record store in the Washington, DC area, Strangeland Records. It was a good run they had, and we can’t say enough wonderful things about what Ryan Hill, the owner, has done for the local music scene here. For all those who are local, the store will still be open until the end of March, with prices falling weekly - so make it out there for some good deals and to help lessen the financial disaster Ryan is incurring from the store closing! There will be a final electronic show there on January 26th, from 6pm until much past midnight. Axios has been invited to play an hour long set to kick off this event, and we hope to see you out there! Pretty much all of the notable acts from the past 2 years at the show will be participating, and it looks like it’s going to be a really great party. Details can be found on our “Experience” page. |

Axios haven’t given an update in a bit, but only because we’ve been too busy to do so! Grun DJ’d a rare downtempo set at Beyond in Dupont Circle back on December 5th 2007, and was fortunately able to record it. Go over to the “Listen” section to check it out! Several different styles are presented in this mix, including 2 original Axios tracks, and 2 tracks from DC local Maduro as well! Axios has also been confirmed for playing an event on January 26th, 2008. More details will be made available after the party is publicly announced in the next couple of weeks. |

“Hardcorps” at Strangeland Records has now come and gone, thanks to all who came out and showed their support for Hardcore music in DC! We have a recording of our Axios Live PA from this party available on our “listen” page. The set was much different than our typical style, and was also our first set of music that wasn’t improvisation based, so it was a lot of fun to do! |
